Car Park There is a plentiful supply of car parking spaces with an overflow facility at the neighbouring beach car park and on-street parking in surrounding streets.
Catering Catering will be available from 30 minutes before the first tee-off time. A daytime snack and lunch will be available all day. All competitors’ are reminded that catering is at their own expense.
MOBILE PHONES MUST BE SWITCHED OFF IN THE CLUBHOUSE, CAR PARK AND ON THE COURSE.
Yardage Books and Caddie Cars The Professional’s shop has yardage books available for purchase and trolleys available for hire on a first come first served basis.
Registration & Play Competitors must register at least 30 minutes prior to their morning starting times as shown on the official draw sheet. Each competitor will be issued with a copy of the local rules, pin positions and pace of play guidelines when registering at the Championship Office.
COMPETITORS MUST REPORT TO THE OFFICIAL STARTER AT THE FIRST TEE 5 MINUTES BEFORE THEY ARE DUE TO PLAY. Competitors are reminded that late arrival at the first tee will result in disqualification as no provision has been made under Rule 6-3.
Etiquette In the interests of all, each competitor should play without delay, leave a bunker as he would expect to find it, replace divots and repair pitch marks. Failure to adhere to this may result in penalties being applied.
Practice Rounds & Practice Facility Monifieth GC have very kindly granted competitors the courtesy of the course for one practice round on Thursday 6 May 2010. Times must be arranged in advance and directly with Monifieth Golf Links, by telephoning the starters box on (01382) 532767. Times will be issued on a first come first served basis.
Competitors unable to practice on Thursday may try to arrange an alternative time at the discretion of the links. Any competitor wishing to book additional practice times will be required to pay a green fee.
Monifieth Golf Links have a practice range sited on the Barry Road, 1km from the course. Competitors may use the range and short game facility, but must provide their own balls. There is also a practice putting green adjacent to the 1st tee. Competitors are advised that chipping to this green is strictly prohibited.
ALL COMPETITORS ARE ADVISED THAT THEY MUST ALLOW ADEQUATE TIME TO RETURN FROM THE PRACTICE GROUND TO THE FIRST TEE. THERE IS NO ALLOWANCE UNDER RULE 6-3 FOR MISSING YOUR OFFICIAL DRAW TIME. THE PENALTY FOR THIS IS DISQUALIFICATION.

Directions Monifieth Golf Links is situated on the east coast of Scotland, 2 miles from Carnoustie.
Driving from the west, south and north take the A90 to Dundee, and follow the Kingsway City Bypass before turning onto the A92 Arbroath Road.
Take the Grange turnoff and from the bottom of Grange Road turn left onto the A930. Continue through Monifieth High Street and on reaching the library turn right onto Tay Street, the course is situated 600 yards ahead.
From the north east follow the A90, southbound, on reaching Dundee continue on the City Bypass, Kingsway East and A92 before following directions above.
